PRACTICAL TIPS 

Prayer doesn't have to be boring.

Try one, try them all.

  • Create a "dummy account" and name it God so you can text him throughout the day

  • Try a different location or posture for prayer

  • Pray scripture

  • Pray out loud

  • Pray specifics, not just the problem, ask for the solution

  • Pray on behalf of others (intercessory prayer)

  • Drive around your neighborhood and pray

  • Create a prayer board to use to pray for people

  • Pray as you walk through nature

  • Use prayer app to remind you of requests

  • Create a prayer journal (or use an app) to track answered prayers

  • Use this acronym P.R.A.Y. - Praise, Repent, Ask, Yield

  • When asking for something use these - Humble, Specific, Persistent, Expectant
